MACHA COMMUNITY COMPANY

In October 2015, Macha set up it's Community Company.  Participants received training from professional theatre practitioners in performance and singing.  In January 2016, Macha received funding from the Community Relations Council and the Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland. Participants performed alongside professional actors in the work of Macha. The Community Company first performed in 'Entitled' at the MAC, Belfast in February 2017 and again, to critical acclaim, in Madame Geneva, Lyric Theatre, Belfast in May 2017.
